At SBFA, we are committed to the well-rounded development of our people.
Through customised training and performance management, we help our people enhance their competencies and realise their potential. By fostering strong employee engagement, we have cultivated a diverse and inclusive workplace with strong cultural integration, transparent communication and encourage quality work-life balance.
We empower our employees by providing the opportunities and tools for them to develop their career and live their values through work and play.
Engaging Our Employees
SBFA’s growth and success rely on our people – their talent, creativity and passion are key to innovating, producing and marketing products that our customers love. Our focus is on attracting, developing and retaining the best talent to support the sustainable growth of our business in an increasingly complex global market.
Developing Future Leaders
The first Global Leadership Development Programme Asia was launched in 2018, and is jointly developed by SBFA together with Suntory University. The customised programme aims to develop future leaders who can drive growth in the region, using the Suntory Leadership Competency (SLC) principles as a guideline.
Developing People – SBFA Supply Chain Excellence Leadership Programme
Recognising that Supply Chain is an important part of our business, SBFA worked together with Singapore Management University in 2018 to customise a 5-day intensive Supply Chain Leadership Development program for participants to learn about topics like risk management, sustainability, data analytics and digitisation. Participants were tasked to design Suntory’s Supply Chain strategy for the next 10 years, and also work as a team on actual projects which were presented to Senior Management in a day-long Pressure Cooker Challenge. The programme addresses challenges and opportunities in SBFA’s supply chain and aims to identify the next generation of Supply Chain leaders in SBFA.
SBFA's employees incorporate contributions to society into all aspects of our workplace and lifestyles. We established a Quality Work-life Committee in which representatives from each department plan activities that meet the varied interests of our employees. These include many community involvement and volunteerism activities such as helping out in soup kitchens and buying school books and stationery for needy children. SBFA also encourages employees to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, and are active participants of the annual Global One Suntory Walk, where employees do their part for the environment while keeping fit by walking 8,000 steps a day.
If your application meets the requirements of our vacancy and you share the same values as we do, we want you!
